Retreats & Workshops
Spirit of Service…
Heart of the Community
Our retreats and workshops serve as a way to respectfully use the gifts and wisdom of our Dominican friends, who through their lived experience have so much to offer the mind & spirit. These programs are a way to bring a taste of the DR to your church, school, or group.
Offerings Include:
A retreat designed to kindle the spirit of hope in difficult times. These can be offered at any time. In the past they have been linked to significant celebrations such as Christmas or Feast Days, or times of reflection such as Lent or Advent.
We will work with your community to design the program in the way and time that best fits your needs. Daily written and video reflection materials, as well as three one-hour gatherings (on days 1, 5, and 9) offered. Each person’s presence enriches the retreat. The more you can participate, the more we all benefit.
Connection (Virtual or In-Person)
Reflective interactive workshops, building community through hard times. How to find individual sustenance and build community. Our workshops focus on how EAB’s story can inspire community action and sustainable justice. Director John McLaughlin has flown across the country to offer these workshops, and you can see them in the flesh or on Zoom!
