As an affiliate, EAB earns 10% of every sale made via our affiliate page. Better World Beans enriches the coffee experience by building genuine relationship through supply chain transparency and the power of specialty coffee. Their direct trade model encourages dignified wages, spurs the local economy, and helps farmers earn more income while customers enjoy a high quality, single origin coffee roasted to order.

Founder/CEO Andrew Hermann traveled to Franco Bidó with EAB, and was moved by the hospitality and generosity of small scale family coffee farmers. He began to learn about the coffee production process. Every summer and soon every few months after Andrew returned to Franco Bidó to learn from these farmers and understand the complexities of the coffee industry. Buying coffee from BWB is supporting the sustainability and wider impacts of EAB’s work (and a past Pilgrim)!
