A new home is one of the most substantial and immediate ways to transform a family’s life, providing its members a more spacious, secure, cool and dignified place to live. Sturdy cement-block structures replace failing wooden or scrap-metal ones. For some families, it is the first time they have a home to call their own. Building projects are led by local masters of construction and realized with many volunteer hours from residents and visiting Pentecost Project groups.
